| Description: | In this content, there is the video of the seminar of the Program of Post-Graduation in Communication, Culture and Amazon (PPGCOM), presented on September 20th of 2012. The seminar, which had as theme “Methodology of Research”, was given by the professor Nísia Martins do Rosário, who is a grant holder in Productivity in Research Level 2 of the CNPq, and she is professor and researcher of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
In the video, the professor talks about the importance of the methodology in the scientific research, highlighting the appearance of the Science as a way of reorganize the society, as well as the creation of its myths. She mentions the appearance of the Communication as a science. The professor also points what she considers as the myths of the science: the exclusiveness of the reason, the rigidity of the method, the myth of truth and the separation between the subject and the object. She also talks about the cartography as methodology of research, theme to which she has dedicated her investigations. |
